The combined Product Portfolio of Directi includes - Web and Email Hosting services, Domain Registration services, Communication and Collaboration apps, Social Networking software, Instant messaging software, Antispam and Antivirus Solutions, Domain Registration and provisioning platforms for ISPs, Traffic Monetization Solutions, Online Advertising Solutions, DNS Management Products and much more. We are 600 people strong, spread across 5 offices in 3 countries. As a part of our expansion strategy we are looking to establish a growing presence in the United States to exponentially increase our current market share in North America. As the Director / VP Marketing and Bizdev you will be in charge of leading this initiative. Your responsibilities will include setting up our initial presence in the United States, in coordination with our HQ, and identifying, inducting and leading a team of "A" players to expand our customer and channel partner base. Your profile will involve cross-cutting responsibilities including strategy, marketing, research, advertising (online and offline), business development, general management and other associated functions. Without any physical presence in the United States, Directi businesses already service 415,000+ customers and 4,000+ channel partners across North America. You will be required to devise and implement rapid expansion strategies to deliver double / triple digit growth year after year in terms of market share for our products and services. You will lead conventional and creative, online and offline sales and marketing initiatives including advertising, direct marketing, participating in relevant conferences, developing strategic partnerships, SEO, generating lead databases, conducting webinars, promotional offers, affiliate programs, social media marketing, PR, online marketing through forums, user groups, viral marketing etc. You will leverage the expertise and experience of seasoned associates at our headquarters and will utilize resources at our global offices in an effective manner to take decisions on as well as implement specific marketing programs. You will be expected to deliver a high ROI on all your marketing initiatives. Who should apply for these roles?You are a seasoned strategy / marketing / sales professional with over 8 years of industry experience, atleast 4 of which have been spent in leading marketing initiatives for a web services company (preferably a Web Host, Domain Registrar, Web 2.0 company etc) You have immaculate written and oral communication skills, excellent negotiation skills, business acumen and a penchant for sales and marketing. You love closing, and can sell a refrigerator to an eskimo. Despite your non-geek status, you love technology and are an early-adopter of the latest in gizmos and software. You are target-driven, extremely motivated and a logical and creative thinker. You have experience in market research, targeting and segmentation, planning and implementing advertising campaigns (online and offline), building kick-ass presentations, negotiation, event management, client relationships, affiliate marketing, channel development, social media marketing, product evangelism, viral marketing etc. Additionally you are a people's person and a good leader.
